Swedish and Deep Tissue massage are two forms of massage commonly used together to create a relaxing yet therapeutic treatment.

Swedish works on a superficial level focusing on long rhythmic strokes in the direction of bringing blood back to the heart which is beneficial for circulation and very relaxing. Deep tissue Massage is slow and steady focusing on going past the facial layer and realigning deeper layers of muscle tissues. Beneficial in breaking down stubborn knots and relieving tension patterns held in the tissues.

Myofascial release is a manual therapy technique often used in massage. The technique focuses on pain believed to arise from myofascial tissues — the tough membranes that wrap, connect and support your muscles. Myofascial release techniques focus on releasing and stretching the fascia.
